I would like to strongly object to the proposal for extra AM's to the Senedd. I consider this to be a further waste of taxpayers money at a time when the government is already extremely short of funds according to them, there are so many other more important things which are extremely urgent i.e NHS, roads, schools that require fixing.
I also think it is an attempt by this Labour Government to get more control in Wales by a devious method which I don 't agree with, why hasn't this been advertised so people know exactly what is going on and what their options are, if it wasn't for fb I would be unaware of my options i.e raising an objection.
I have lived in Wales all my life (I am 77 years old) and love the country but I have never felt so angry as I do now about the imposition of 20 MPH speed restriction. I have been driving for nearly 60 years, I was involved in an accident once nearly 40 years ago when a car went through a red light and crashed into me, luckily no one was hurt, considering the volume of traffic on the roads today I think most drivers are very safe and there are not that many accidents.
Personally I do not know what the 60 AM's seem to do, I have never had any dealings with my AM and whenever I see anything on the news there are hardly any AM's in the Senedd.
I feel that this particular government wants total control to do exactly as it wants and cares nothing about the people of Wales.
